Grant Writing 101
Dean A. Messing
Successful grant writing takes time, training, technique, finding funding sources, and meeting their criteria. Grants may be as short as one paragraph, or as long as pages upon pages of information. There are many corporations, foundations, funds, the government, and even private donors out there that are looking to give away money to worthy causes.
As long as you can meet the requirements, you have a chance to be awarded a grant in a small or even very large amount. If you make a reasonable attempt at writing a grant, you have as good as a chance as someone else who applies.
Tips to becoming a good grant writer.
